My flying adventure started at Sugar Valley Airport (31A) in Mocksville, NC in 1984.  I knew then that I wanted to teach flying to others.  In 1987, I obtained my Flight Instructor Certificate through Piedmont Aviation in Winston-Salem, NC.  Since then, I have taught at Lexington (EXX), Sugar Valley, and Twin Lakes (8A7).  One of the greatest treasures in my life is the ability to fly.  Even better, to help others leave the bounds of earth to find an enhance their lives.
